About me

I am Natalia Papanagi, Integrative Psychotherapist (Counselling Therapist), and I am located in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

I like working in an integrative way. What does that mean? That I pick and choose elements, theories, practices, and techniques from various psychotherapeutic approaches, to tailor the therapeutic plan and experience to your own needs.

Why me, Why Now

My journey

My journey has been a pursuit of understanding the intricacies of the human mind and the art of effective counseling. Essentially, I enjoy blending the science of psychology and psychotherapy with the art of self-exploration and well-being. I am always fascinated about why things are the way they are, and I absolutely love facilitating or being the catalyst for positive change!

I am an observer and a listener. An Art lover. A cat person. An introvert. A person who gives their all to what they do. A realist (mostly!). A former Evangelical Christian. I am direct, and I like to call things what they are. Ethical. Respectful. Stronger than I usually realize. Playful. Inclusive and accepting of people from all walks of life.

Through my personal traumas, I learned how to be empathic and alert, and how to anticipate behaviors. And having witnessed healing and change in front of me, but also having experienced it myself, I realized that I couldn’t imagine myself being able to create that change and not doing it.

I absolutely love facilitating or being the catalyst for positive change. I love seeing the expression of realization on the faces of people in therapy. I love seeing people I work with thrive, and be stronger, and live their best lives!
